From the outside, 2025 at GIANTY might look like a year all about technology with AI, new pipelines, smarter workflows, and more advanced tools. But step behind the scenes, and you’ll see a very different story.
At GIANTY, AI wasn’t just rolled out. It was nurtured, tested, debated, broken, fixed and most importantly, shaped by the people behind the screens.
And in that story, two names were mentioned again and again throughout the year: MVP 2025 – Nguyen Thi Xuyen Chau and Shining Star 2025 – Nguyen Vu Thanh Toan. They helped move AI from being “a cool idea on a slide” into something real – a part of how work flows at GIANTY every day.
So here’s a small gossip from GIANTY with the two brightest stars of 2025.
Meet our MVP – Nguyen Thi Xuyen Chau

When asked to summarize her 2025 at GIANTY in one sentence, Xuyen Chau laughed and said:
“Opening up a whole new world — so much new knowledge that my brain had to keep updating nonstop.”
There were moments when AI itself even teased her, saying she was over-engineering things like designing systems that were a little too complex at the first stage.
One of the most memorable highlights of the year – which GIANTY has shared widely was bringing AI directly into the game development workflow. Instead of stopping at experiments, Xuyen Chau and the team turned AI into a real production tool, significantly shortening development time while still keeping quality high.
When you first heard the title “MVP 2025,” what did you feel — pride, surprise, or pressure?
Honestly? Total surprise.
I didn’t start 2025 with a goal to chase any title. I just tried to do my best on the projects I truly believed in. So when my name was called, my first reaction was: “Wait… me? Are you sure you didn’t mix this up?”
The pressure came right after. I told myself: Okay, from next year on, no more laziness – AI is watching 😂
Looking back at 2025, which project pushed you out of your comfort zone the most?
Definitely the TGS project.
Because we used the company’s real-time translation tools, I moved from working mostly “behind the scenes” to working directly with clients. I went from being a pure developer to someone who had to both build and communicate. It was nerve-wracking but totally worth it.
From your perspective, what was happening behind the scenes when using AI to speed up game development?
Making a game is like building an entire world from zero. The process usually goes: try → fail → fix → try again… on repeat.
AI doesn’t replace humans, but it helps the team avoid grinding through repetitive tasks. That leaves more energy for the best parts: creativity, gameplay, and player experience.
For me, that’s the real value of AI in this project.
Was there a moment when you thought, “Without AI, this project would be very different”?
Not just one moment but many.
Without AI, communication with partners would’ve been slower, messier, and more prone to misunderstanding. Early-stage concepts and assets would’ve taken much longer to form.
And in game development, when ideas move slowly, the whole team slows down. So without AI, not only would this project be different and our entire way of working would be different too.
In 2026, what do you hope AI will help you do that you couldn’t before?
Probably… improve my communication skills 😆
If I can explain things clearly enough for AI to understand, maybe talking to humans will feel a little less “laggy” too.
One message you’d like to send to “Xuyen Chau of 2026”?
Tokyo Game Show 2026 – throwing a slipper here to reserve my spot in advance – I’m coming 😂
Meet our Shining Star – Nguyen Vu Thanh Toan

In 2025, Thanh Toan quietly stood behind many of GIANTY’s most important AI changes. He wasn’t loud or flashy, but he was consistently one of the most persistent and reliable people across every project he touched.
Looking back at 2025, what keyword best describes your journey at GIANTY?
“Transformation.” I had the chance to grow horizontally, exactly the way I wanted.
I started at GIANTY as a Frontend Developer, then moved into R&D, researching Agentic AI and applying it in real projects. I also learned more about backend development so I could turn ideas into real applications with the support of AI.
The goal now is to grow both wide and deep in this AI era. There’s still a lot to improve, but that’s the challenge I’m excited about.
When you found out you were “Shining Star 2025,” what was your first thought?
Happiness and pride.
I felt lucky that my contributions were recognized by the company and leadership.
Which project did you feel most connected to this year?
The Sengo project.
It was the first project where I transitioned from a Software Engineer mindset to working as a Product Engineer. I was deeply involved in shaping the product – focusing more on solving real end-user pain points than on polishing code just for the sake of clean architecture.
That shift in thinking meant a lot to me..
How has your role changed as AI became a bigger part of your daily work?
Changing my mindset was the biggest challenge.
“AI-first” is the keyword I relate to most. Before, coding took up most of my time. Now, with AI supporting the coding process, I need to ship features faster and make more decisions every day. My job shifted from “just building” to constantly evaluating and deciding.
After everything this year, do you see AI as a tool or a teammate?
For me, it happened in two phases.
In the first half of the year, AI was a tool.
In the second half, AI became a teammate.
With the rapid development of foundation models and Agentic AI, it’s now realistic for AI to handle entire features, not just small tasks like before.
Any plans or focus areas for 2026?
Agentic AI is my main focus.
I want to apply it as much as possible in real work, shortening time-to-market for new applications and reducing maintenance effort for existing ones. That way, I can improve my own productivity and contribute more meaningfully to GIANTY.
When work and AI get overwhelming, how do you de-stress?
I head to the football playground with the GIANTY football club 😂
Moving Forward Together into 2026 with GIANTY
Thank you to Xuyen Chau and Thanh Toan for a year full of effort, passion, and courage — and to all GIANTIERs who continuously support one another and build new things together.
These stories aren’t just about AI or technology. They reflect personal growth, learning curves, and the journeys each of us is on at GIANTY.
2026 is ahead with new challenges, new projects, and even bigger leaps. But no matter how fast technology moves, the most valuable thing we have is still our people and the spirit of moving forward together.

Here’s to a year of momentum, creativity, proud achievements, and taking GIANTY even further – together.
