What we are looking for

We are seeking a Project Owner cum Business Analyst to join our delivery team for a major digital transformation project in the Laos lottery market. This role is central to ensuring that the product vision — including advanced features such as gamification, AI-driven engagement, and voice-powered user interaction — is translated into actionable, well-structured specifications and delivered successfully.

You will work closely with the client-side Product Owner to clarify requirements, define game logic and AI use cases, and align delivery with the business goals across three product development phases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or hybrid BA/PO role
• Experience working with product delivery teams (preferably in software outsourcing/vendor models)
• Exposure to mobile apps, gamification mechanics, or AI product development
  

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong in business requirement analysis, documentation, and backlog management
• Familiar with gamification design and game economy balancing
• Understands how to translate game design into development-ready logic
• Knowledgeable about AI use cases in mobile apps (voice, prediction, analytics)
• Able to work cross-functionally with AI, design, backend, and Flutter mobile teams

What you are going to do

 1. Project & Stakeholder Alignment

• Act as the main liaison with the client-side Product Owner
• Understand the client’s product vision, business objectives, and KPIs
• Facilitate alignment across business stakeholders, internal developers, designers, and AI teams
• Maintain traceability from business goals → features → delivery milestones
  

2. Business Analysis & Documentation

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements into clear and actionable product specifications
• Define user flows, functional specs, edge cases, and acceptance criteria
• Convert gamification and AI feature ideas into implementable logic for the dev team
  

3. Game Logic & Gamification Support

• Define logic for gamified systems including:
• Streaks, challenges, daily engagement hooks
• Loyalty points, reward tiers, mini-games (e.g., Phai Kheang, Pokdeng)
• In-app progression, virtual gifts, avatars
  
  
• Work closely with Game Designers to:
  
  
• Balance the in-app economy: rewards, difficulty curves, point sinks/sources
  Ensure user retention mechanisms are engaging, fair, and scalable
  
  
• Translate finalized designs into implementation-ready specifications
  

4. AI & Voice Product Integration

• Collaborate with AI/ML and voice engineering teams to:
  
  
• Define voice command logic and dialogue flows in Lao language
• Specify business logic for AI-powered predictions (lucky number suggestions, dream interpretations, personalized notifications)
• Ensure AI features align with real user needs and product goals
  
  
• Actively suggest AI use cases to enhance user experience and product performance
  
  
• Stay open-minded and curious about AI trends and best practices in conversational interfaces and analytics
  

5. Delivery Coordination

• Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and feature prioritization
• Ensure timely delivery of features across all phases
• Facilitate UAT, feature review, and feedback resolution with the client PO
• Identify misalignments early and recommend adjustments as needed
