GIANTY is excited to announce a new milestone in our co-development journey with Fahrenheit 213 Inc. (213℉): LUNAR PULSE will make its first hands-on appearance at gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany, giving players an early opportunity to experience the game’s tactical card battle system firsthand.
The playable demo will be showcased through the JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) Pavilion, where visitors can try a special exhibition build created specifically for the event.
For a game that has been developed behind the scenes through close collaboration between teams, seeing LUNAR PULSE reach an international gaming audience is an exciting step forward. While the GIANTY development team will not be physically present at the event, the booth staff will be running the special event build throughout the showcase.
So, if you’re heading to gamescom this year, you’ll have a chance to sit down, pick your cards, and find out whether you can outthink your opponent.
A Special LUNAR PULSE Event Build for gamescom 2026
The demo has been built specifically for the exhibition floor, with a short and focused gameplay experience that allows visitors to quickly understand the core mechanics and jump straight into a tactical duel.
The complete demo experience will offer around 15 minutes of gameplay in English, Japanese, and Germa (if player can smoothly defeat opponents), giving players enough time to understand the basics, experiment with different decisions, and experience the central tactical idea behind LUNAR PULSE:
- Fast-Paced Duels: One-on-one single-player card battles against CPU opponents designed to conclude in approximately one minute.
- Open-Hand Strategy: Combat using a 15-card deck and a 5-card hand where both your hand and the opponent’s hand remain fully revealed.
- Simultaneous Action Selection (SAS): Head-to-head card resolution, instead of turn-based, where you must anticipate the opponent’s moves to survive.
